1 Liability of the carrier in international carriage of goods in comparison Abstract The rigorosum thesis deals with the analysis of the legal regulation of the carrier's liability in the international carriage of goods, all that across every key type of international carriage, while these rules are being continuously compared with one another in the text of this rigorosum thesis. The thesis tries to point out the differences in the regulation connected to similar legal institutes within two or more types of carriage. The introducing part of the rigorosum thesis includes the interpretation of basic terms which are commonly found in international carriage, defines its subjects and their possible plurality. Furthermore, the thesis then explains the necessary definition of individual types of carriage, i.e. regimes in which international carriage can be performed. The role of freight forwarders in international trade and carriage is highlighted as well. It is also important not to omit the basic types of contracts that may be entered into by the subjects in international carriage, as well as their mutual comparison within the framework of the national (i.e. Czech) regulation, in terms, among others, of the carrier's liability regime. Topical issues of the regulation of international carriage Abstract The topic of this thesis is international air carriage and its legal regulation which is, due to the highly international nature of air carriage, mainly International and EU. The thesis is systematically divided into 5 main parts. The introductory part is focused on carriage and air carriage in general. It provides definitons of basic concepts, with which the following sections work, a brief historical outline and also current issues and challenges in international carriage, thus bringing this topic to the reader in a detailed perspective. Another discussed point are the international organizations authorized to issue legislation and how they have recently gone through some changes. The second part is dedicated to legislation; especially International and EU legislation. An Interpretation is also provided to the Czech legislation. However, this only plays a rather complementary role, resulting from the highly international character of air carriage. The following two parts are, according to the nature of air carriage, divided into cargo and passenger transport legislation and they are focused mainly on liability of an air carrier. International transport of dangerous goods in air and road transportation

The aim of the diploma thesis is analysis of air and road transport of dangerous goods and subsequent comparison of IATA DGR conditions for the air transport of dangerous goods with ADR conditions for the transport of dangerous goods by road and their application on a particular business case. Another aim of the thesis is to carry out a price calculation of road and air transport of a sample lithium battery consignment, to evaluate both types of transport with regard to their price and time efficiency and to make the final recommendations regarding the choice of more efficient mode of transport.

75 Resume in English Name of the thesis: Rights of passengers in air transport The thesis deals with the legal regulation regarding the rights of the passenger in air transport, including the general regulation of the concluded contract of carriage and the practical possibilities of a passengers to apply their rights in specific situations. In addition to the legal regulation, a significant part of this work represents the judicature not only of Czech courts, but also of the Court of Justice of the European Union, and to a lesser extent, of German courts. In terms of the thesis, the legal regulation is analyzed and identified (in the rage of contract of carriage also comparised with the German legal order), and its problematic aspects are determined and de lege ferenda are presented possibilities for their solution. The main aim of the thesis is to elaborate the current practical and theoretical themes of "transport law" with emphasis on the person's air transport and then to analyze and systematically include concrete rights of a passenger in individual contexts. Application of delivery conditions in the Air&Sea transport

The master thesis deals with the application of delivery conditions in the maritime and air transport which was done in forward company Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Ltd. The theoretical part describes air and maritime transport focusing on development in Europe. The international interpretative rules INCOTERMS 2010 were discussed. The practical part explains application of delivery conditions by using business cases from company Hellmann. This part includes their comparison. Export and import operations were chosen on route Europe and Far East.
The Study of Logistics Procurement with a View to Purchase

This thesis focuses on reduction of costs associated with the acquisition of amorphous cores from China, namely reduction of transport costs. The first part introduces the company’s production program. Then the thesis provides theoretical knowledge and analysis of the current state of the ordering process. Based on the analysis I have proposed measures which are reducing transport costs. Conditions needed for the implementation of these proposals are proposed as well. The final part offers quantified benefits of each proposal.
Legal aspects of air transportation

This Bachelor thesis deals with the legal aspects of air transportation. In the introductory chapter is presented air transportation, its advantages and disadvantages. Another chapter is devoted to the development of legislation, sources of international regulation, where is within one source characterized the delivery clauses of INCOTERMS 2010. The third chapter deals with contractual relations in air transportation and also with related agreements. In the fourth chapter is devoted to customs issues, primarily the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic and clearance of goods in export and import of basic features. The fifth chapter contains a main goal of this thesis. It examines the process of the export and import of goods between the Czech Republic and Japan on the basic of the necessary documents in practical terms. This chapter is supplemented by analysis of the development of goods transported between the Czech Republic and Japan in exports and imports over the past five years.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of international transportation of products traded by Česká zbrojovka a.s., concentrating specifically on air and sea transportation. The main focus is on the transport of products destined for the automotive industry and on the transport of weapons and cartridges. The first theoretical part deals with air and sea transport, transport of dangerous goods and the International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS). The second practical part examines separate transports of these products. In the end of this practical part are these concrete examined transports compared.
Emergency airfreight transportation in automotive industry

The Master's thesis aims to introduce importance and specifics of emergency airfreight transportation. It focuses on the automotive industry as an industry affected by lean production trends and indicates high requirements on logistics systems. Breach of delivery conditions threatens the continuity of production and can cause heavy financial losses. The thesis analyzes air transport as a solution for such critical situations. From the perspective of a forwarding company specialized in emergency transportation, air transport options and process of organization are described. Research focuses on transport possibilities for a particular route, with emphasis on analysis and comparison of air accessibility and transportation expenses. The obtained knowledge leads to evaluation of effectiveness and the proposal of optimal solutions.
An analysis of a transport operator´s job description

An analysis of a transport operator´s job description My degree work is centred on the problems of a transport operator´s job in a forwarding agency. The introduction provides an explanation of a term of "dispatch service" and explains why logistics is so important in transport. Then there is a description of the transport development after 1990 and the changes transport had to undergo in the time of globalization. The main part of the work deals with the operator´s working procedure from an offer to a demand, an order and other actions to the final realization. A model example is given to represent an actual transporting process. The work also states conditions under which transport is executed, for example payment terms and terms of delivery. Next chapters outline the way of calculation, give a detailed description of collecting service (which is implemented within the bounds of CS Expres system) and of storing problems including the introduction of bar codes in stores and possibilities of logistic service extension. The conclusion is focused on the firm developing strategy.
